While that's sort of true, there are some of his movies that I don't find that great, so I didn't put them on my list.

Others that rock: Perfect Blue, Cowboy Bebop: Knockin' On Heaven's Door, Appleseed, Tokoyo Godfathers, Grave of the Fireflies, Steamboy, and both Evangelion movies.

I found that movie horrible trash.
But hey thats what I get for reading the book first then watch the movie movie.

I hated Castle in the Sky's dub, but that's about it.

Others that rock: Perfect Blue, Cowboy Bebop: Knockin' On Heaven's Door, Appleseed, Tokoyo Godfathers, Grave of the Fireflies, Steamboy, and both Evangelion movies.

Forgive me for saying, but IMO Evangelion: Death and Rebirth was crap. It was a glorified recap episode with spoiler for the second movie as it's second half. End of Evangelion was an improvement over the show, but IMO it still had problems, largely because the creator was angry at his fanbase for all their complaints about the original ending and he just said "To h*** with it!" It was still good enough to warrant purchasing along with the show.

However, I think that Fullmetal Alchemist: The Conquerer of Shambala was excellent. It was a satisfying end to an excellent (and might I add, my favorite) Anime series. I actually have a hard time thinking of an Anime film that I enjoy watching more. t:
