I do wonder why Jonathan Archer didn't get a spot on this poll, however.
I mean... he'd get steamrolled by Picard and Kirk, but he was a captain of the Enterprise afterall.

I voted Kirk. I've been a fan of the Original Series since I was 3, and my old man and me would watch Star Trek when it aired. Before I moved out, it was one of the few things we still did.

But neithe Kirk or Picard can hold a candle to the captain of the USS Enterprise (CV-6) during World War 2

My favorite three favorite Picard moments were The Borg episode two parter. The one where he is kidnapped and brian washed into trying to believe there were five lights instead of four. Cardassians i think had kidnapped him. The scenes where he covinces Kirk to help him stop Soren.

My favorite Kirk moments were in the movies. The part where he says Khan!!!! And Star Trek 5 Where he asks. "What does God need with a star ship.?" Kirk and Spock on the bus in Star Trek 4.

I voted Picard because i simply remember TNG better then the Original. I simply loved that whole crew. Except for Spock whos my all time favorite.

Thats a very good one. I liked that sci-fi cross over idea. But you forgot the kiss and data walks in saying he fixed something while Han and The Captain are going at it near the hyper drive. R2 starts it up and she says awe han. "Thats right princess whos the daddy sister." Just kidding i love both these sci fi influences.

He's a quality, revered, and powerful captain.
He's the captain that I grew up with and he is my favorite.

Picard is my favorite, but Kirk is so close shy of 1st place.
