That depends what world and game your playing. Minotaurs in games like D/D and in some works of fiction are alot tougher then trolls

Minotaurs in Dungeons and Dragons are not tougher than trolls, for exactly the reason I stated. Trolls regenerate constantly, so unless you use fire or acid on them, they'll keep going. Minotaurs you can kill like anything else.

Yea but to be fair, killing a Minotaur wouldn't exactly be an easy thing to do. Half Bull half steroid infested wrastler? Pretty tough cookie.

Yeah, but it's easier than a vicious eight foot tall giant that prefers using its claws and fangs to weapons and can regenerate from horrific wounds and certain death to get up and eat you.

I'm a fan of trolls because they've given me, as a Gamemaster, the most fun of all the monsters I've used. Causing my friends to fear for their character's lives is one of my greatest players, and trolls make it easy.

Well most Minotaurs are 7-8 foot tall so Trolls not much bigger. I mean you throw some water on trolls like in willow and they turn to red ***** balls of poop. Throw water ona minotaur and he is still gonna kill your ass.
Now in D/D a person can pick a minotaur to use and build up his abilities and its not easy like you make it sound. Trolls are one of the more known races in d/d and Minotaurs are not so ofcourse there gonna be toucher. My feeling in in real life a Minotaur would stomp a mud hole in a trolls candy a$$
