The Superman Theme.

Edit :
I just remembered the one theme that every person will always know.
ROCKY's theme.

Star Wars LotR no brainers... JP no brainer... my underrated pick... Apollo 13... Horner's piece is simply magnificent

Danny Elfman - The Batman Theme :o

I'll think of the other 2 later.

it just has to be pretty much any song from this film, but the main theme would surely suffice...

but if we are going animation, than shirley walker has outdone everyone by completely and absolutely defining exactly what it means to be confronted by a character. God bless her resting soul, not only a theme but probably one of the best peices of music i've ever heard is the theme from this

A70-859

The Long Good Friday - Francis Monkman
The Good The Bad and the Ugly - Ennio Morricone
James Bond theme

Spider-mans Theme when he swings from buildings at the end of both movies.
LOL

But seriously, the main title march from Superman, the Indiana Jones theme, and Back to the Future are easily the greatest theme songs, with honourable mentions for Bond, Star Trek II and Star Wars.

LOTR:FOTR
Kingdom of Heaven
The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly- Ennio Morricone *****es! :cmad::cmad::cmad:

Star Wars Theme
Indiana Jones Theme
Superman Theme

Yeah I like John Williams.

Indiana Jones
Star Wars
Back To The Future

The Imperial March-The Empire Strikes Back

The Batman theme-Batman

The Rocketeer theme-The Rocketeer

Honor Him/Now We Are Free from Gladiator
Goa from The Bourne Supremacy
Neodämmerung from The Matrix Revolutions

I didn't want to pick the obvious favorites because they are going to win anyway. :down

I don't know if you mean MOVIE themes, or themes from movies.

so, I'll do both.

By far, there can be no rival...

Imperial March
Star Wars Main Theme
and wistful, Luke stares off at destiny on the horizon theme

or I could say
Star Wars
Raiders of the Lost Ark
JAWS

I can't believe anyone mentioned anything from Spider-Man.
I can't hum you two notes from Spider-Man.
That's when Danny was really revealed to be a hack/has-been.
Horrid
Even the Hulk was better 'cause at least it had that haunting four note thing.

My favorite theme is from the Empire Strikes Back when Lando, Leia and the Gang are escaping Cloud City. They incorporate a little of Leia's theme when R2 opens the door and I just think it's a really beautiful piece and adds so much to that scene.

I can actually hum it for you guys if it actually helps. :o
