Thought about limiting this to just the 80s, but I’m gonna say anything goes. Anyone who wants to give We’re Back! A Dinosaur’s Story it’s due should be allowed to do so.

Looking at the list of non-Spielberg directed Amblin movies, the Back to the Future trilogy is the clear frontrunner. But I've still got a lot of love for Gremlins 1 & 2 and The Goonies.

BTTF is my clear winner here.

And I know that I am in the minority, but I actually dislike the Goonies. I’ve never seen the hype around it.

Back to the Future is great, but I almost feel like Who Framed Roger Rabbit is an even greater technical achievement. But either way, Zemeckis comes out on top, so…

I definitely haven't seen all the available options, but the answer is still BTTF.

I love both Gremlins so much... But I'll probably say Men in Black. I always cite this movie as the perfect summer blockbuster, or at least as a solid example of what to aim for in terms of quality.

The story is straight forward but always engaging. The script is great and elevated by an impeccable cast that makes so many of the lines memorable. The whole pacing is particularly on point, everything flows so well and I really can't find any place where the movie would drag.
And there's the production design, cinematography and visual effects, everything was top notch back then and in my opinion still holds up. Icing on the cake, you even have a nice theme composed by Elfman... Yeah, to me it's all perfectly crafted.

I feel like the movie is a bit underrated at times. Sure, it's all subjective, but I definitely put this one alongside other pop culture classics.

Men in Black is great, and it does feel underrated at times. I think it was an unfortunate case of the sequel dragging it down because of how disappointing MIB 2 was.

I always think of MiB as the Ghostbusters of the 90s. Even down to its sequel coming out 5 years later as a mostly remake lol

And I haven’t seen 3 in a while but I remember it being a lot of time travel fun.

International can f-off though.
