Best Stephen King's "Different Seasons" Movie?

Which of the 3 novella's from the book Different Seasons, turned out to be the best movie?

It's really tough to decide which movie is better between Stand By Me and Shawshank.. Ive already voted for Shawshank and now Im debating my choice...

Apt. Pupil isnt even in the same league. I thought it was terrible.

I can't decide between Shawshank and Stand By Me.

The Shawshank Redemption. Which I think is the only one who manage to improve on the story it was based on. Stand By Me also good. Apt Pupil was somewhat disappointing and nowhere near as scary as the original story
