We are close to Father's Day in my country, so I ask:

OUT OF THIS ONES, which is the best TV father?

Which is the coolest? And which raised his sons the best?

What do you say?

Since you left out the greatest TV dad of all time...Jack Bauer (who if you get so much as a speeding ticket, will shoot the police officer who pulled you over), I voted Tony Soprano. He does things he is not proud of, but he clearly loves his children, is there for them when they need them, and is a pretty decent father.

Tied between Hal Wilkerson (Malcolm in the Middle) and Tim the Toolman Taylor.

Carl Winslow (Family Matters)

Danny Tanner ( Full House)

Vic Mackey (The Shield) ... great father willing to do anyhting for his kids. He just sucks at being a husband.

Keith from "Veronica Mars" needs to be on the list.

and the dad from the Brady Bunch was Mike Brady, not Greg..........

Michael Kyle was fantastic in the first two seasons of My Wife and Kids, after that he became a clown. Just like Junior went from being a normal kid to be over the top moron.

Al Bundy is a legend.

But nobody compare to Ken Titus.

Voted for Steven Keaton in a fit of seriousness.

Jack Bristow....period.

The best TV dad is without a doubt Keith Mars...he sure loves his daughter.

I like a lot of them I can't choose.

I grew up with the Brady's and the Huxatbles allowed ignorant folks see that black folks are part of the middle class.

Anyway I'll climb down from my soap box now.

Al Bundy.
Carl Winslow.
Cliff Huxtable.

...and Ozzy.

Nice list.

It was a toss-up between Hank Hill, Andy Taylor and Herman Munster for me. I went with Herman Munster.

Homer, no contest.

Oh and you missed; Jack Bauer.

WHERE THE HELL IS JIM WALSH? Tell me that.
