Ever see a movie that perfectly captured the heart and soul of your favorite game, comic or novel? Let us know!

Mine:

Comics
-Best GI Joe film... The Rock
-Best Dark Knight Returns film... Robocop

Games
-Best Resident Evil film... The Hills Have Eyes remake (it even had the boss fight from RE4 where the dog helped you!)
-Best Call of Duty 4 film... Rambo
-Best Doom film.... Event Horizon
-Best Quake film... Doom
-Best Grand Theft Auto film... Pulp Fiction (a perfect blend of wacky characters and crazy situations. Watching it feels like playing the games)

Books
-Best Clockwork Orange film... Bully(it had the vile ambiguity about the main character that I felt was missing from Kuprick's film)
-Best Descent film... The Descent (That's right, technically, these two properties are unconnected and unrelated)

Comics:

Best Heavy Metal movie: "The Fifth Element" or "The Dark Crystal".

Games:

Best Resident Evil movie: "Dawn of the Dead (2004)" or "Romero's Zombie movies".

Comics
-Best Spawn film... Running Scared
-Best Venom film... Taxi Driver (substitute the guns for the symbiote and you've got your film)

Games
-Best Manhunt film... Hostel (wasn't my favorite film, but really captured the tone and style of the game)

Actually, Dawn of the Dead 2004 was nothing like RE, as it was always bright and sunny, and the zombies ran...And for the Romero movies it should be the other way around...

Best Video Game Of Romeros Zombie Movies- Resident Evil 0-Code Veronics :o

And I think The Condemed is probably closer to a Manhunt movie than Hostel.

Best Star Trek movie: Galaxy Quest

Pitch Black could have been an Alien movie. Just replace the aliens in that one with xenomorphs. There ya go. Much better than those AVP fckups.

-Best Silent Hill 2 film... Mothman Prophecies (While Jacob's Ladder had the mood and visuals of Silent Hill, I really think MP had the emotional story of James Sunderland captured very nicely. The film even opened up with a very similar style to Silent Hill 2's trailer)
-Best Castlevania film... Van Helsing (Though far from a good film, all they had to do was say Van Helsing was a member of the Belmont family and everyone would have accepted it.)

Comics:

Best Heavy Metal movie: "The Fifth Element" or "The Dark Crystal".

Makes sense. Two original Heavy Metal artists did conceptual designs for the film.

Ultraviolet was a better Aeon Flux movie than the Charlize Theron film. Which is says a lot, considering Ultraviolet was mind-numbingly atrocious!

-Best Street Fighter film... The Quest
-Best Resistance: Fall of Man film... Cloverfiled
-Best Timesplitters film... Last Action Hero (completely unrelated stories, but the action and humor is dead on and exactly how Timesplitters is)
