Best video editing software

yeah ive used premiere before and it baffled me. if you know how to use it though it can be amazing

Loads of tuts on the web, once you get the basics down its great

If I'm editing on a PC, you can't get any better (or affordable) than Adobe Premiere.

But if you can edit on a Mac, Final Cut Pro is the best now that it's in HD as well.

I interned at a Professional Studio this past summer. They used AVID but I was not a fan! However, they also used Adobe After Effects which we also use with FCP at my current job...

I use Final Cut pro at college, which is good for college because they use Mac.

But I have Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5 courtesy of one of my good friends. ;)

and I know that it will definetely be a programme I will use, once I get my laptop.

Which will most definetely be on Wednesday.

I do some some ediitng on adobe premier pro, but I just hire an editor to do most of it on their eiditng labs.

I think I prefer editing sometimes. Filming can be...stressful...at the best of times.

Depends on the cast and crew I feel. I'm mostly a director, so editing doesn't interest me much, although obviously I have to have a big part in it, but hey, jus me.

Well...being a college student...where all your buddies including yourself don#'t plan everything as well as they should..

..it can be stressful. :o

Well I guess it would be, once you get your own indie film company, things change. I can't get enough of it!

Maybe one day. I just wanted some home editing software so I can start to build up a portfolio of my own. :-)

Producing is the most annoying part of film though, the organisation and everything is effort, Thank god for my PA(even though she doesn't do as much as I need her to, but oh well)
