I haven't seen Rogue One but I would assume that any appearance by Darth Vader should make him an automatic #1.

So...
1. Darth Vader - Rogue One
2. The Blind Man - Don't Breathe
3. Howard - 10 Cloverfield Lane
4. Crowley - I Am Not A Serial Killer
5. Darcy - Green Room

1. Darth Vader
2. Shere Khan
3. Zemo

Seeing them all rounded up like that, man this was a terrible year for bad guys. They all sucked.

Not counting the ones on the list, though, Patrick Stewart in Green Room was incredible, and The Witch's titular character, of course.

On film, I'd say:

1. Darth Vader
2. Apocalypse
3. Enchantress

But with all due respect to those characters, I'd put Negan above them all.

I'm going to say Krennic, actually. Really enjoyed Mendelsohn's performance.

Oh ****. Changing my vote.

Black Phillip from The Witch.

Darth Vader and [BLACKOUT]Grand Moff Tarkin.[/BLACKOUT]

Heh, I didn't include darth just in case people would consider it a spoiler.

Good to see he could be the villain of the year though even though his screen time was very short.

I actually think it's been a very good year for villains. They're not just all white British men and we've moved away from them all being "I want to conquer the world" type villains and towards more nuanced villains. Some want to conquer the world, some want to install order, some have very personal reasons why they do what they do
