Sorry Hunter for stealing your idea (...again), but I haven't seen this done. All I've seen is threads where people list what they thought were the best films of the year, but I don't think we've had a good end of the year poll, where people were able to nominate films, instead of having the thread starter's pre-selected choice. With that said, the instructions are as follows:

    - List up to 3 films that you thought were best of the year
    - The 10 films that have the most votes will qualify to the final thread/poll
    - The final thread/poll will be made on the 28th, so that leaves about 5 days to nominate

    Go!

I think a narrower final selection should be the case..5 to 10 movies for the final vote, 15 seems a bit much...ya think?

    ether way good thread

Mmmmmmmmm, not been a great year at all really.

    I would go for:

Transformers, 300 and No Country For Old Men ..... simply because they were the three movies that entertained me the most.

Agreed. TRANSFORMERS is an entertaining movie, but it is certainly not the best, most well-crafted of this year. Fanboys continue to amuse me with the predictability of their views.

Anyway, I haven't seen SWEENEY TODD yet, so I'm not going to decide until I do so.

I think you and VileOne will be the only ones that mention this. It was one of the best films of the year, yet, I don't think many here saw it.
