Bill Hader is BARRY (HBO)

Shot in the dark:

I think whatever service Barry is using to get target assignments is going to come into play. I think either D’Arcy Carden is going to try having Sally offed, or the girl on Sally’s show is going to try having Barry killed. And then, you know… it won’t end well for either of them.

Just a feeling.

I think NoHo comes to barry for help with the father in law and we get our noho and barry working together again scenerio

Do you guys think Barry actually meant that threat at the end? Or was that just a desperate plea to get Cousineau to cooperate?

I don't think he meant it at the time. But Barry will definitely off both of them along with Gene if it means keeping himself out of jail.

I eat up every scene between Gene and Barry, and I was waiting for Gene to go off-script. Luckily the scene ended when he left and it didn't do something cliche like the people watching suddenly applauding and thinking it was the real thing.

Also, this face from Barry:

I wonder how many entertainment journalists who’ve interviewed Hader in these kind of junkets were watching last night and realized that they personally gave him ammunition for this scene.

He talked about it on the Ringer podcast. Apparently, someone asked him what he thought about Ben Affleck playing Batman right after they were talking about the topic of sucide in The Skeleton Twins.

I know it's early, but this already might be my favorite season. Things are getting hella dark hella fast.

He was talking about that on his most recent appearance on Seth Meyers too.

I can agree with that if things keep going in this direction, but I will withhold going that far until the season does something that comes close to or tops the insanity that was ronny/lily.

Seriously, that whole episode was one long series defining moment for the show.

It's a great/well done episode but I might prefer the S2 finale tbh. They do drama and comedy extremely well but I might prefer the dramatic elements a teeeeny bit more and this season seems to be leaning much more on that.

I adored everything revolving around the "Detonate" app. And I love how Sally doesn't care about critics, is getting ready to give this huge presentation about her show's premiere...but the thing that gave her the most joy is that her show got a 98 percent on Rotten Tomatoes!

I had been wondering how the show would go about ever getting Barry and Cousineau back in the same room again after these past few episodes. And now I wonder if we’ve landed on it… if Barry’s influence on getting Cousineau’s career on track proves so indispensable that Cousineau is actually willing to overlook Moss’s murder and the kidnapping, etc.

Was that Michael Ironside in the promo for next week?

I'm confused, I thought it was already renewed for Season 4 a long time ago and was to be filmed back-to-back with Season 3?
