Incredible. If I had any qualms with this otherwise fantastic finale, I'd think that Barry would at least be a tad curious that Gene was luring him into a trap. That and trying to go right for the kill shot. Then again, he was literally running from one mess to another so he probably didn't have time to really think straight. Still, it made for a great moment at the end with Barry being caught on all sides.

Between Sally going to a dark place, Nono Hank shooting his way to freedom and a reunion, Barry trying to stay one step ahead and clean up the messes made, only to get caught in the end, this was an incredible ending and now I cannot wait for Season 4.

Damn this whole episode had me on the edge of my seat. What an incredible and intense finale and Bill Hader deserves all the awards for pulling off this level of directing on top of such an amazing and layered performance.

I really hope the guy breaks out BIG one of these days in Hollywood like Krasinki did with AQP, because you can see all the talent and potential he has as a serious A-List director.

I can't give Hader enough praise for this season both in front of and behind the camera but Winkler was a powerhouse this season and Sarah Goldberg really knocked it out of the park too.

It’s almost pointless to try to get ahead of Hader or predict where he’ll go from here, but nevertheless:

I kind of feel like Gene is going to end up flying a little too close to the sun after all this. I think Barry’s aware enough now to get why Gene would sell him out, but I think Gene’s going to end up milking his experience to keep his career resurgence going (a book deal, docuseries, etc.) and then we’ll be in for a “Walt sees the Schwartzes talking about him on Charlie Rose” kind of moment.

That was excellent excellent directing and keeping the viewer on the very edge. Wow.

There's so much good content coming out or that has come out recently. Between Barry, Better Call Saul, Atlanta, Stranger Things 4, Everything Everywhere All at Once, Top Gun 2, Kendrick's new album, Pusha T's new album, Weezer is dropping some decent music, Bad Bunny's new album, Catwoman Lonely City, Rogues, the NBA playoffs have been pretty good...

Really good time in entertainment imo

This or Succession. I still cannot and probably won't pick which I prefer, but Barry and Succession are, for my money, the absolute best of HBO's currently airing shows.

I think Succession is the best on TV right now. Stranger Things and Atlanta were tied for the best but their recent seasons (in ST's case part of its season) while great had some issues that made me bump them down slightly.

4. Barry
5. Snowfall/You

Succession is probably the best show on HBO that's currently airing but with this last season of Barry I have to say that might come in at a not too distant second. Euphoria rounds out my top three but it isn't always as consistent as Succession or Barry.
