Confirm please.

I read the BP wiki and it said T'Challa created Falcon's wings. That means BP was working with the US government?

Don't know about that, but it sure would make sense to make that connection. With BP debuting in Civil War.

No, Captain America asked Panther to help Falcon

T'Challa made falcon's wings twice in the comics

The OP seems to be confusing the comics with the films. In the comics the wings were created by Black Panther but in the film that's not the case. It's never explicitly spelled out but a set visit from Entertainment Weekly, they stated that the wings were developed by Stark Industries.

Falcon’s wings are fully deployed. When EW visited the set of Captain America: The Winter Soldier, I noticed that the prop wings had a small trademark embossed on them, alongside a serial number: Stark Industries.

HO HUM

BP not getting the credit sucks, but it's understandable. BP hadnt been announced yet.

BP I think just redesigned his costume. I don't think his wings originally came from T'challa.

BP also designed the a Avengers Quinnjet. He wont get the credit for that either unless a new one is designed and that let him shine and not give Stark the credit.

They did come from T'Challa. Originally Falcon couldn't fly or anything like that and after an incident where he was almost killed, he asked Cap to go to the Avengers and see if they could give him some sort of power-up. That's when Panther came in and designed his wings.

But instead, stark gets all the credit. if they don't change this in civil war, then i'm going to have a work with Mr. Feige and that mouse

It's nothing to get upset over. The movie had to go that route because they didn't introduce Black Panther yet. What were they gonna do. Have him show up for ten seconds to give Sam a wing suit and then disappear without anyone acknowledging who that was?

An easter egg would have been great. Maybe Sma says "A king from Africa gave me as a gift to carry on with my mission" at least I would have been okay with that.

Which is fine for comic fans but people in the audience would have been like "What?" It's bad storytelling.

I think an Easter egg could have worked.

When they were looking at the Falcon suit dossier and explaining Sam's backstory they could have namedropped it like "The suits were prototypes from the Wakandan Design Group." Quick line, no different than Sitwell saying "Stephen Strange" but those in the know woulda caught it.

That works much better. I like it.

If they are smart. Falcon's wings came from a goverment project that BP consulted on. And Stark made him some other wings and BP was like eff that fam: I made you the best fricken wings!!!! But that's just my fanfiction...

A part of me thinks that what will happen is it'll be revealed that Stark Industries stole some tech from Wakanda. I know some might scoff at this but there's re precedent for it. Howard Stark already managed to obtain some Vibranium but he never explained how he came across it. Howard Stark was also shown to be willing to steal from Anton Vanko to develop the Arc Reactor.

I could easily see it being revealed that elements of Falcon's wings and the Quinjets were pilfered from the Wakanda Design Group.
