The police watches over civilians but who watches them?
It's happening time and again, and so many are trying to act like these are "isolated incidents". Considering we have hundreds, if not thousands caught on camera these past 10 days, imagine what isn't being caught on camera. And this is just it... This issue of police/LOE commiting premeidated acts against the public during this time is HUGE. This is not an "isolated incident" in some place other than where you are from. This is happening likely right where you live. Attacks on the press. Attacks on protesters. Conflating the civil rights issue of protest with the destruction and chaos of rioting. Covering badges. Firing "non-lethal" weapons at people merely in their own homes or driving their cars. This is all being recorded. It's all over. And it paints of picture of law enforcement in the U.S. that is out of control and acting like they will never be held accountable because that's exactly what we as a society have allowed for decades.
This is why defending the non-use of bodycams and covering names/badge numbers should never be defended. They aren't doing it for their safety or public interest. They are doing it to hide their identities when they do stuff like this. The most troubling thing about the video of the picture on the right....after the old guy goes down, you see the blood from his head start covering the sidewalk under him....AND NONE OF THE POLICE STOP TO CHECK ON HIM....if you are wondering why the guy filming it doesn't help, he is surrounded by cops getting on him for filming it.

That is when you break ranks. I am so sick of hearing how most of these cops are good, when they sit there and go along with their partners brutalizing the public. One of the police officers appears to take a second to stop and look a the guy and then another officer behind him grabs him to keep him moving.
Why was he walking up to the cops like that?
What was his purpose in doing so? I feel bad for the man, but it's obviously not the smartest decision he could make. The cops were moving with purpose.Like what, exactly?
Yeah, I am going to need some specificity on that one.Like what, exactly?
Are you serious? The man walks up to them, stops, is clearly talking to them, is obviously elderly, obviously not the most fleet of foot, and clearly not a threat at all, and then they shove him to the ground and now he might die, and your question is why was he moving forward? Not, why did the piece of trash members of the police decided to shove a 70 year old to the ground? Really? What was his purpose in doing so? I feel bad for the man, but it's obviously not the smartest decision he could make. The cops were moving with purpose.
It really doesn't matter why he was walking where. He's a 75 year old man brutally attacked by the people supposedly there to protect and serve the public. No kind of walking justifies their actions. They are not there to assault people who did nothing to them, even though they've proven they really want that to be their job. What was his purpose in doing so? So.....a nuke from Russia or China, an alien invasion, Gammera, King Kong, Godzilla, Robot invasion, zombies and murder hornets by July 4th?
Oldest strategy for consolidating power. Divide and Rule. It's inexcusable and I don't know how many more videos of this need to be released for people to get it. Our democracy is crumbling.
I'm certainly not condoning their actions. It really doesn't matter why he was walking where. He's a 75 year old man brutally attacked by the people supposedly there to protect and serve the public.
