BLM Protests Across The World

I'd love to see the body cam footage of the officer(s) involved to find out what the man was saying to the officers that made them feel justified putting their hands on him at all.

I obviously don't think they intended to push the man to the ground cracking his skull off the pavement, but once the mistake was made you better damn sure break rank & check that man is alright. There was 1 officer that started to kneel & was stopped pushed on away by some other turd.. and the other donkey that was involved just walked on with his head down almost in shame that he'd pushed an elderly man down.

A few bad apples. Supported by other apples...
We have system that would protect each other through subterfuge and outright denial than to bring the justice they claim to defend and serve. This is not America. This is not the country we want. This is corruption and systemic abuse of power.

So a video that I hadn't watched in a while popped up in my sidebar about one of the many aspects of the police mentality that is absolutely ****ed up.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tuzQrbio2Qw

And here's the kicker: Minneapolis tried to ban 'Warrior Training' courses last year, and their police union offered it for free to make sure officers were properly trained to commit their murders.

So I guess their strategy now is to smear the victims to make their actions “justified”? GTFO. It’s like they keep trying to find ways on how to lose the public’s trust. This is so repulsive and disgusting. I hope every single one of them will burn in hell.

And this has been the MO in many of the high profile police or other shootings of minorities for the last 20 plus years if not more. Now we're all starting to notice the strategy is being expanded to... (drum roll please) EVERYBODY ELSE.

And that's not to imply that every victim of those shootings was "an angel". Last I checked though, being an angel wasn't the sum total qualifier to not getting shot, especially by the police. Time and again though we see the tactic of a release of information that is spun to make the victims look like they were deserving of a death sentence. Cops do have to deal with the less than savory part of society, so no surprise they are gonna interact with those with records or the like. And when you factor in substance abuse as part of routine calls handled by cops, yeah, it isn't a surprise there is a legitimate need for law enforcement to use violence in the course of their day. But unnecessary force is unnecessary force. Worse, the cases where a suspect is clearly not a threat because they are subdued or clearly incapacitated. Then there are the shootings that are simply unjustified by any measure, no knock police break ins where the address was wrong, the person clearly scared out of their wits trying to comply with police who we see unarmed, who is shot in the blink of an eye... These cases quickly turn not to whether police should have shot the person, but due to various media outlets or other forces friendly with police will do their damdest to paint the victim's as ultimately either worthless in society's eyes or ticking time bombs that were inevitably going to hurt someone else who brought their fate upon themselves.

Could that be some of the high profile shootings we all know about? Maybe... but it surely is not all of them.

And as painful as this may be, and I mean this because it is a hard thing to have to highlight to those who are the victims of criminals, but even if these people were all "criminal scum", well... even criminals have rights, up to and including not having to be the subject of an extrajudicial execution on the streets of America. And the lack of consequences in so many cases and the "us vs the public" mentality of the police combined with politicians that have long made crime great fodder to campaign on has created a perfect storm where we now see the mask ripped off and just how much more police department across the nation are for whatever reason tipped squarely onto the side of the "Bad Apples".

A 75 year old retiree and volunteer for Catholic Workers is not some threat to anyone's life or liberty. But as stated... The franchise to be a victim of the very police force your taxes pay for has expanded beyond just certain communities. It's for everyone now.

Yay equality.

Did the town come to their senses and developed good hearts?

I can't post it because of language, but uh look up why Stone Cold is trending twitter:
