When the government slanders a peaceful and elderly Catholic activist saying he led looters and rioters you know you're slowly crossing into police state territory.

That's no different than the sketchy tactics the Chinese government uses against Hong Kong protestors.

My home town of 40,000 had a BLM protest of over 100 people. It’s a pretty “Dont rock the boat,” type of place so I was proud to see the people speaking.
