I don't care if Ray Charles, Jesus, and MLK came down from heaven to pay their respects. Why does anyone else care? This wasn't a funeral of a questionable man, who we need to ask ourselves if we should be celebrating him or not.The funerals was mostly attended by family and actual friends. It was live streamed and whatever but it still included his loved ones and people who knew him
What the hell does that mean?I agree with this. I've also seen people observing a lot of the "**** white people" sentiment (and statements) on social media which won't help the cause, or may push people away who otherwise would have wanted to contribute to the cause. People are obviously very emotional, but another thing that has become crystal clear for many people, aside from how thuggish and poorly trained many officers are, is that racism/bigotry is most certainly a two-way street. This is what both parties want and why power is more consolidated among those who rule then ever before. Divide and Rule. Racists are emboldened, ideologies crystalized/radicalized, and people who are on the fence behind the scenes (the silent majority?) largely remain there, likely leading them to continue voting for their own self-interest as opposed to change.

You heard it here first, folks: black people are equally at fault for racial tensions in America.People are obviously very emotional, but another thing that has become crystal clear for many people, aside from how thuggish and poorly trained many officers are, is that racism/bigotry is most certainly a two-way street.
The cops feeling sore about being asked to not kill with impunity is a good example of this. They are not the majority. A lot of the "**** white people" sentiment is just people asking to be treated as equals. When you have had privilege ingrained, losing it feels like oppression.

This is in fact America. You heard it here first, folks: black people are equally at fault for racial tensions in America.
How many racists take that. Racists. You know, bad people. That's why I put the question mark (?)
Fair enough, I'm just communicating how many take that.
I
Im concerned that criminals with grudges could potentially stalk or track down current and former cops using public records. But as long precautions are taken and the records wont endanger ongoing cases it should be fine.

What's this? I don't understand what you mean? How many racists take that. Racists. You know, bad people.
I dont even know what that is. You'll forgive me if I dont trust the integrity of bitter criminals. Humans stalk and murder people. Idk why you consider cops immune to that risk.Marv, you do realize Hard to Kill was a fictional movie right? It wasn't a documentary.
The "Obama was the real cause of racial tension" takes are bad.
Neither do I. Which is why I don't trust the NYPD to discipline their own, and thus shouldn't be allowed to hide their records.I dont even know what that is. Again , what is this nonsense with Obama, I never brought him up. And it wasn't a 'take' as much as an observation. So, it is okay for cops to hide badge numbers and names? And not give you any information about them at all? Because that is really the only way to prevent something like this. Total anonymity. Which has its own problems. But, police officers are public servants, they need to be held accountable to the public.

Two way street and all.Conservatives love to blame Obama for the rise in racial tension. You are blaming a rise in racial tension on black people. Who do not want to be summarily killed.
