BOOM brings back Ducktails, officially best publisher ever

Why are they launching all this when they'll all get cancelled/transferred to Marvel?

Ducktales WOO-OOO!

Now give us Chip n Dale Rescue Rangers! :D

I think Disney just signed a deal with Boom that extended their time with the licenses, so it's not like they'll get canceled right away or anything. Probably just getting the most out of those licenses as they can if/until that may happen

Still with SLG, as far as I know. :csad:

I wouldn't be surprised if Disney named their price just so they can get it to BOOM with the rest of their stuff. As excited as I am for this and Darkwing Duck, I think I'd flip my lid if they had Gargoyles too.

Oh, well, that would explain why I'm still waiting for more issues of Bad Guys that will never come. :argh:

I tried to read Gargoyles, but just couldn't get into it. I could remember what happened from the show(thanks Disney for no Season 2 part2) and the terrible art work.

I like what BOOM is doing though. I bought that Double Duck storyline from Donald Duck and Friends and Im really enjoying it. I plan on picking up the Ducktails and the Darkwing Duck. And I still hope for a Power Rangers book, but Im not counting on it.

The main Gargoyles series did suck because of the horrible artwork. But the Bad Guys spinoff, which covered a Suicide Squad-esque group of (mostly) reformed villains, was really good. The writing was true to the show and the art was a lot better than the art on Gargoyles.

I'm crossing my fingers for BOOM! to pick up Gargoyles.

That would be great, although I don't hold out much hope for the quality of the art if they do. Waid knows how to treat a series right when it comes to writers, but Boom employs some downright amateurish artists on their licensed comics. :o

Perhaps they could get one of the shows character designers, storyboard artists or animators to do the art.... or maybe I'm asking too much.

I have a friend who is doing art for one of their Muppet titles, and the stuff I have seen from her is pretty sweet. :awesome:

I was thinking more of Will Sliney, whose art is competent but really, really plain and stiff. He's on the Farscape ongoing, which is pretty much the only Boom comic I read.
