Bought Thought October 24th

It's funny, but the book with the best sense of humor, in my opinion, stars a different Jaime. PAD's X-Factor is the only book that I get a genuine laugh out of with nearly every issue.
X-Factor's another funny book, and it's near the top of my list every month.

X-Factor is great I've slowly been converted. I started buying it because Darth kept on harking on about how good it was - and, well, he was right.

As for funny books, Booster Gold has really been great so far.

They gotta cross Booster Gold and Blue Beetle over for some hilarious shenanigans. Just let Rogers write it, not Johns.

Booster Gold is good, but I wouldn't say it's funny. It feels exactly how I thought it would feel like: a 90's Jurgens book. And that's not necessarily a bad thing.

It's simple and fun, which is nice to see these days. That's what was so endearing about Spider-Girl that kept it coming back from cancelation, in fact.

I should go back and read Jurgens run on Sensation Spider-Man. I remember his redesign for Mysterio being pretty cool.

So, I didn't see Invincible this week. Is it being delayed to next week? I don't remember it showing up in the Diamond's List. :(

Yeah, Invincible laughs at the Diamond List. Sometimes it's delayed for a couple weeks, and sometimes it ships when it's not even scheduled to.

I don't think I can wait anymore. :(

I want the book in my hands. Right now!

*Jumps into bed and cries.

Todd McFarlane laughs at your tears, too.

Yeah but Spawn sucks.

X-Men #204

I was initially sickened when I first opened this book up. No, I liked it, its just that there was some Ramos art on the recap page. Very unsettling.

This was my first issue of Carey's run, and I couldn't help but notice this was the end of a story arc. Typically I hate jumping into the middle of something, but thanks to some helpful info from the posters here I was able to jump in with a minimum of confusion.

That being said, the art was very nice (except for the cursed recap page) and the writing was sharp. Wasn't crazy about Sinister's hair though. Looked a little too goth for my taste.

4/5

Annihilation Conquest: Wraith #4

There, its over. I really haven't enjoyed this tie-in. The badassery of the Super Skrull helped make these last two issues tolerable, but Wraith really bores me. Anyway the sole twist of this issue was already spoiled by the Conquest preview a week or two ago when they revealed Ronan was going to be back on the side of angels so this all felt pretty ho-hum. The bit with his father's spirit was the sole highlight for me.

2.5/5

I should be happy that at least he doesn't look like Ultimate Mr. Sinister.

What's Risks powers like anyway? Something similar to Longshot in Marvel?
edit; nvm
