Holy crap. I didn't know it made that much internationally.

I think SR will make a lot of money overseas. It hasn´t opened in a lot of important territories yet (Japan, Italy, Germany, etc.). It´s doing very well in Spain, Mexico, China and UK.

Did Superman have a bigger budget than X-Men 3?
It´s up to who you ask, actually... That´s a big frikking mess, some say the X3 210m includes advertising, some say it doesn´t, Singer says SR cost 204m, but some people include the old projects in the account and make it 250m... it´s crazy. Both movies are very expensive, that´s for sure...

Budgets are funny things. Studios lie to make it seem like a big film where as some lie to make it seem like they havent lost much money,

I'm thinking 43mil for Lady in the Water.
Good thing this prediction is going to be wrong. The movie deserves the worse possible boxoffice.

^^highly unlikely.

the superman budget is much higher then 204. i dont care what WB or singer says, thier trying to downplay it, the budget liiks to be around 225-230, add in promos brings up to around 260 or a bit more. SR will need to make at least 450 mill worldwide to break even, which seems to be unlikely. POTC2 already broke even.

In that case Superman is also making low numbers considering its budget.

Well you are right. But I think it can make $210m in total.

I thought hunter explained you that the budget is $204m and other $56m is marketing.
