Is there already a thread on this book? If not here goes....

Is there any wonder why Batman is so popular??? This guy takes on the Legion of Super Heroes!

Things I liked:

1. The way they treated Bruce like some pet. "Sit! "Stay!" That was funny.

2. See the pretty lights?? Brainiac really poured on the superiority thing.

3. Did anyone not know how great a hero Batman was? The only one that gave him respect was the little kid and Karate Kid.

4. The way Batman just out smarted them at every turn. Primitive gas pellets. Snatching Brainiac's ring whaile clocking him at the same time.

It was a good issue. One of my favorite superheroes takes on and owns one of the teams I hate the most.

I loved how whiny and bratty The Legion of Superheros were made out to be, and I loved how Batman just owned all of them.

The first page showed Supergirl as a member of the LOSH.. but she was nowhere in the issue..
now having Batman see Kara there might have fixed a lot of problems between Kara and Clark :P
but this also raises a lot of questions... mostly about the recent JLA/JSA crossover.. like is this after the lightning saga? if so.. he must be really confused about some things.. like a black starman/boy? asian Karate kid?
but then again.. he didn't know what the flightring was.. so this must be prior to the crossover.. but that raises even more questions!

unless... time travel screws with his head on the way home :P

There was a little box on the first page that said it happened before The Lightning Saga.

He ties up Triplicate Girl so that she can't merge back! That was sweet. And he uses the pea shooter to tag Shrinking Violet!!

"When Batman said, "I've had about enough of you!" I died!! :woot:

Brainiac 5: "Smoke Bomb??? How primitive....."

Lightning Lad: "It worked didn't it?"

The "Batman r beter then ever1 lolz!!!" motif of this issue bothered me at first, but the way it fit into the overall story made it okay. I was also kind of confused about why Supergirl didn't appear alongside the Legion in this issue, given that she should be there in the time period that Batman seems to have popped into. Cosmic Boy was missing as well, which probably means this issue was set just after the Dominator War. I guess Supergirl might've been off searching for Cos, but lots of the Legionnaires who were present were featured in the search for Cos in recent issues, and not even a mention is made of Supergirl in the issue. Oh well, given that Batman's still stuck in the future, I guess we'll get some answers next issue.

Then I'm still not buying it.

Woo!

Allergic to good art, huh? I'm sorry. It's a sad, sad affliction. :(

George Perez has been knocking it out of the park so far on this title.

It's too old school for my taste. Not that I want 90's huge muscles or anything like that. Perez is a good artist, I just don't care for his style. If that makes sense.

you don't like horny Supergirl?
she was like 2 sec away from having an orgasm under the triple sun :P
