Breaking down Bat-villains

In this thread, we're going to discuss specific traits that we like about the Batman's foes, from Joker to Bane to whomever.

I like how The Joker is possibly more intelligent than Batsy and how he's freakin' crazy!

Joker-I find him a fitting antithesis to Batman. Batman is all about order, or rather imposing order upon a chaotic world. And the Joker's existence daily challenges his resolve. Is he more intelligent than Batman? I don't know. But he's definitely on par with him.

Also...Their relationship is amazing...Like in TKJ...They've been at each other thousands of times...But they don't know each other...At least the humanity inside them...The persona on the outside is what each of them sort of respect...They can't kill each other...They complete each other...t:

I felt like the interrogation room scene in the movie was ripped from that book.

Ah...I see! In terms of intelligence...Who is Batman's superior? What comes to mind would be The Riddler...But The Joker seems to be such a philosophical character that knows so much...Also there's Ra's, but he's a forever entity...Whatever that means...!

Riddler revels in his own intelligence. He likes that Batman challenges him but would never admit to that.
What villain do you think would just commit suicide if there were no Batman to oppose them?

No. Joker would just become unhappy and locked up in Arkham like in The Dark Knight Returns.

 

[Two-Face Killer]

The Joker is tops in my opinion but he's been covered well here. My second favorite is Two Face. I love the coin flip as a way to make a decision. Also, I like the whole tragedy of being this amazing crusader to becoming a big time criminal. I enjoy him as D.A. Harvey Dent as much as I do seeing him as Two Face. Great character.

mr.zsasz is underrated, just read the last arkham

Zsasz really is underrated. I do think Bane gets overlooked as well in terms of extreme intelligence. Some of the issues he's in gives him great lines that show you how methodical he is. Knightfall for example.

I think the fact that he's portrayed as a moron in all other media contributes to that.
