There's no way isolationism is the only key to a speedy recovery.

That sounds like B.S.

Because for the most part, this is a trend that happens regularly. Crisis reaction in the markets. And they tend to recover. There is not really a way to predict the future, but you can make a good argument by looking at historic trends in the market.

I think it was the deciding factor. Specifically Germany encouraging the entire Middle East to illegally immigrate, and then expecting the whole European community to foot the bill of taking care of 1,000,000+ "refugees".

I think the stuff in Calais probably influenced it. Where the immigrants were trashing stuff and chanting **** the UK. If I saw the beggars acting like spoiled kids, I would probably be pretty upset too.

Historically, a year. I am not saying this is a good thing. It sucks. I am saying that it does recover.

Well, sure. They unfortunately tend to be predatory lending though. To stimulate the economy at first and also to minimize their losses. It is not necessarily a noble thing that lenders love huge movements. They are opportunists. And eventually, it will be time to pay the piper (lenders) and you will see a collapse in housing markets, due to the banks having to eat unsustainable mortgages/loans. Its not always sunshine and roses.

You realise this referendum isn't legally binding right? If more people demand it there will be another one. Besides the Leave side already said if the margins were close they would be open to another referendum. This is far from over.

They will not have another referendum. Who's going to grant it? Cameron who has resigned? The next leader of the conservatives? Might as well just give UKIP 4m of their votes now, it would be pollitical suicide.

The people have spoken. You can either whinge and cry about it or we can move on, look at the reasons that people voted the way they did try and fix those problems and heal our country.

This whole Brexit thing could have been avoided had the EU actually listened to its members and stopped overreaching on many things that individual countries could just as easily done on their own. From reading about all the problems with the EU, it just seems like it has grown into a bureaucratic mess that was overstepping its original mission and intent.

This whole Brexit thing could have been avoided had the EU actually listened to its members and stopped overreaching on many things that individual countries could just as easily done on their own. From reading about all the problems with the EU, it just seems like it has grown into a bureaucratic mess that was overstepping its original mission and intent.

The british people were only ever asked if we wanted to join a free market in 1974. They said yes. They were never asked about giving political power over to europe or the free movement of labour. We might have accepted but not the overflow of millions of cheap labour from eastern europe. Even then this might have been acceptable if there was proper planning, wages and jobs protected, enough houses built and enough investment in local services and health care. It wasn't and has led to massive drop in living standards for some people. A lot of the middle classes didn't feel any effect they actually got better off, house prices went through the roof and the elite made an absolute killing. So they don't understand the pain and put the leave vote down to xenephobia, stupidity and the old.

This issue won't go away with the country that evenly divided and with that big a disparity between the young and the old voters. With all do respect to the older generation they are not the ones who are going to have to live with this decision.

No they are the ones who have helped build this country and have paid taxes for decades. They deserve just as much of a voice as some spotty student who has never done a days work in his life.

They're not allowed to vote because they do not yet have life experience, they are children and are still receiving education.

Yep the old people will be dead soon. When they are gone the young people will have control and can do what they want.

Maybe they are voting for what they feel is best for their kids and grandkids. Who's to say they are not right?
