Paul WS Anderson is like..the king of being average. He's so Average, so middle of the road, that it's baffling.

See people are worrying because of Paul as the director. Listen he isn't a terrible director. Sure, he isn't oscar worthy, but he doesn't need to be. The problem with Paul isn't his direction but his, writing. He is a downright, no good, very bad, writer. But thats the thing. He isn't writing. We might get something decent. Long as he doesn't do a rewrite.

Because he is Lord of the Mediocrity, he shall taint it. On a visual level, he's good but not that original. I want a retro-futurism type vibe here, but I probably will get cliche sci fi instead.

Like I said long as he doesn't do a re-write. Wonder who will be in the movie, even with his terrible movies, he draws in a good set of actors.

He has made one decent movie Event Horizon. Track Records counts here and he's made so many disposable movies that it's not funny.

event horizon, mortal kombat, and the first resident evil i loved..

again, disposable movies. I did like Mortal Kombat and Event Horizon for what they were. Don't know how anyone can like Resident Evil but that's okay.

He tried to get Taylor Lautner for the role of D'artagnon (sp) for his 3d three musketeer flick. He turned down the role.

i could name a million that deserve to be called mediocre or even bad directors.. that have no style or eye for even the slightest bit of entertainment..

terrible- stephen sommers (worse version of michael bay)

Yeah Boll (and Frank miller) are on a whole other level of suck. Not saying I like Paul WS, just that he isn't bad (to me). I actually enjoy Event Horizon and Mortal Kombat.

I'd put Ratner over Anderson. At least Ratner has Red Dragon and the first two Rush Hour films which are at least watchable.

Depends Ratner of today is not as watchable as Paul WS Anderson today. In their prime (hurts to even say that about either of these "directors) got to go with Ratner too. Only because of Red Dragon.


I'd rather watch Death Race or AVP (yuck) than X-Men 3 or Rush Hour 3.


Also as far as Pg-13 martial arts movies are concerned I'd rather see Mortal Kombat than any Rush Hour film.

It's got a lot of stuff to draw from regarding the comics and the show.

I prefer it not to be like the comics where he just falls asleep in a cave and wakes up in the 25th century. I prefer the TV show concept of his ship being frozen and being in suspended animation.
