Olbermann: Bush ‘appearing to be stupid’ about Kerry’s joke

There is tonight no political division in this country that he and his party will not exploit, nor have not exploited; no anxiety that he and his party will not inflame.

There is no line this president has not crossed — nor will not cross — to keep one political party in power.

He has spread any and every fear among us in a desperate effort to avoid that which he most fears — some check, some balance against what has become not an imperial, but a unilateral presidency.

Again, Keith Olbermann nails it. If anyone watched his reports during and after Katrina, he was one of the few along with Anderson Cooper, giving it straight.

The truthiness hurts, doesn't it W?:cmad:

I couldn't agree more with the title of this thread.

I swear Olbermann can just talk forever....shut up.

Better him then O'Reilly. Maybe if the info was written on a loofa...

Kerry apologized, it's what he needed to do. Now that he has, it's time to just let the subject drop.

Yeah, damn that Bush
Osama for President!!!!

Keith, you're my hero!! Now if only the Democrats would come out and say the same damn thing!!!! Probably the saddest part is that many Americans will vote Republican because of the stink the Republicans have made about Kerry.

Why is it that you feel that if someone hates Bush, they support Terrorism? Are you using circular logic??
Bush hates Osama
I hate Bush
Hate is the opposite of love
I love Osama
Is that your logic??
You might as well say...
God is love
Love is blind
Ray Charles is God

For God's sake, take a crowbar and pry open your mind!

Oh, my bad :o

I meant Obama
Suuuurrre. The "B" and the "S" are nowhere near each other on the keyboard. Don't think you can claim typo on that one.

Yeah, ya got me.......but you gotta admit, it was sorta funny :woot:

But really the reason I said what I said originally is not because of the circular logic thing, but because everyone bashing Bush does it so venimously, its really as though most that hate Bush really really hate him....more than they would hate, say..........Osama

I hate it when I stub my pinkie toe.

I hated the amount of times it took me to get that last lego canister on the last level of LEGO Star Wars 1.

I hate the fact that I passed on a copy of Planescape:Torment 5 years ago, and now can't find a copy.

I hate that I never heard of the Thief series until a couple years ago.

I hate it when I get popcorn kernels stuck in my teeth.

As for Bush, I prefer shaven. As for Osama, meh.

What the...?

Bush is a moron = p.

Osama is brilliant = q

p>q? Therefore, ~q > ~p. However, ~(p ^ q) is not = with ~p ^ ~q, but rather with ~p v ~q. Because ~p, it does not lead to q.

However, if

p = you are not patriotic
q = you support terrorism
and r = you hate Bush

then p > q > r and by contrapositive, ~r > ~p

Bush owes a lot of people an apology, and a pound of flesh to Shylock. However I have pretty much come to the conclusion that it's never gonna happen.

Bush is the one sending the troops to die in some God forsaken land for no reason. HE'S the one that owes the troops and apology.

You know, it really wasn't a bad idea to go into Iraq. The plan was sound. 1-create a democracy in the heart of the middle east 2-have US troops on both borders of the real enemy(Iran) 3- keep them(Islamic extremist) preoccupied there instead of here.
It still may end up working, granted it may not, but still a coherent plan.
And 2 things I know for sure 1- If the plan doesn't work it will be in large part(though not completely) due to the lack of universal support for Bush and his policies from most of the rest of the world and about half of the US population. The extremist see the lack of support for Bush inside and outside the US, and it gives them hope and further motivates them to keep up the attacks. If everyone were united against them, this would be going a lot easier right now. 2- Personally I don't care where Bush decided to go and make a stand. Could of been Syria, Iran, Saudi Arabia.....Iraq is as good as any. And at least Bush has done something for us all to sit around and criticize which is a lot better than the **** load of nothing that has been done for the last 30 years.

should have had a poll. who owes the troops more of an apology? Kerry for insulting them in a botched joke, or Bush the lives of 3000 troops, serious permanent debalitating injuries for another 20,000, and risking the lives of countless more troops to send us into war under false pretenses?

I think the media should poll America on that one. I also think they should poll America on whether world war three is more likely to happen with democrats in power or republicans?
