Does anyone here know of any websites that deal with selling celebrity autographs preferbly a site with a really good reputation (and no ebay does not count folks.)

I'm not a hardcore collector, but it is my understanding that it is generally a bad idea to ever buy an autograph.

Too many counterfeits and people willing to rip you off, I'd assume.

Ebay...if you think it's real why not? Just don't pay too much.

I don't get the point in buying autographs.

Yeah, buying doesn't seem the best idea, no real way to know if it's legit.

I prefer to get the autograph myself, then I know it's real

Yep, the ones I have, I've all got in person.

I have gotten all the ones I have in person too but c'mon, when am I EVER going to meet Walken?

Is the autograph really worth anything to you if you didn't get it yourself? I mean, it seems to me that the experience of meeting someone famous would be the important part, while the autograph is just a memento, but maybe that's just me.

I agree with Ferret and they aren't really worth anything unless you can prove they are 100% authentic.

yeah, plus if you are trying to resell, autographs are hardly worth too much anyway unless they include personal messages.

Co-signed. I don't really see the point in BUYING autographs. Like Ferret said, autograph's are special imo because it shows that you met whoever signed it.
