Use the M16. Once you get the ACOG scope with it or even the red dot (which doesn't take long at all, just 25 kills) and know how to use it, you can become god like in free for all. You just have to remember to stay out of large open areas most of the time and try not to run in direction constantly.

I really like the M4 Carbine with the red dot on it or with the launcher attached to it.

Well the M4 has a higher rate of fire, but I think it only does about half the damage the M16 does, plus its not as accurate. And just say no to grenade launchers.
