I turned my Xbox 360 on, and I can hear the sound perfectly but there's no visual output. Only audio. I checked the wires, everything seems to be okay. There's no RROD or anything. Do the output cables need to be replaced? Has this happened to anyone else?

I think my buddy had a problem like this, it turned out it was his cables. Im not saying thats the problem, but thatd be the first thing i check. Go out and purchase a new cable, see if that does the trick, if it doesnt, the only i could tell ya is to give MS a call.

1) Is this the cable that does HD and regular?

2) Made sure that the switch on the cord is on the right one be it TV or HD?

1. Yeah.

2. It's switched on TV.

EDIT: After closely examining it and testing it, I'm pretty convinced that I need a new AV cable. It's plugged in and the red and white audio output wires work, but the yellow visual output doesn't.
