then how does he run around at superspeed, without running into walls, cars or people? They've shown that he can move, fast than a person can see, which means he can move faster than peoples brains can process it. If he thought at normal human speeds, then he'd be running into buildings and whatnot everytime he went fast

Oh, Superman runs around pretty fast, and A lot as well. But either way, he still has to be able to think as fast, if not faster than the speed he is travelling at. Otherwise he wouldn't be so nimble at such high speeds One might counter argue, saying fighter plane pilots go really fast. But they can't turn on a dime, navigate city streets, tunnels, hallways etc. in their jets.


don't focus on the running. Focus on how fast does superman's neurons have to fire, in order to operate at the speeds he does.

Superman thinks at what ever speed he wants to go. But i dont know if he's similar to the flash. Like even though he's thinking fast, he still feels like the time he spends in relation. Like if he does 10 minutes of work in a minute, does he feel like he still did 10 minutes?

he thinks at normal speed just like cats do. he doesn't slow down time or anything...Superman just has quicker reflexes. that's probably why he didn't do anything when Lex hit him on NK...because his super reflexes were gone.

I disagree, he has to be able to think much much faster than the average human. Remember that he can also type very fast which requires thinking, not reflexs(STM). He does specific manual labor a super speed which doesn't use reflexs (SR, he buries the ship by dawn). This Superman has to think at superspeed, it has to be, otherwise he wouldn't be able to operate at the speeds that he is working at.

He definately can. In the comics he's described as having a "super brain" and photographic memory. He memorised the metropolis phone book by flicking through it at superspeed, he'd have to be thinking fast enough to register each page to do that.

When superman is clark, he mostly use's his super speed which i thought they could of used in the movie.

think in superspeed is a new power in the comic. He just discovered it after a year long power absence.
So now, he does think superfast.
