Cancelling AOL ( Your experiences bad/good)

I remember when I was like 13 and I had AOL. My mom use to put on parental controls. But I installed a keylogger onto the computer and got her password and changed it.

Reminded me of those ******* Recruiters for the military. and AOL, god it was the **** back in the day when that was all there was for the pubic. Now, its a plague. I got DSL about 2 years ago. Never looked back... "You're annoying the **** outta me." great

i had the worst time cancelling AOL. i was one the phone with someone from india for ours trying to tell him i wanted to cancel. and he wouldn't let me. it ended with me screaming....and i mean SCREAMING...and begging him to let me cancel.

i think there even some threats thrown in there. terrible.

i had AOL 5 years ago, now every week, i have to go through my entire hard drive and delete EVERY SINGLE AOL FILE in order to not get pop ups from them. i had no problem cancelling my account, but getting rid of the actual software is ****ing impossible.

I went through a similar situation a couple of months back where evertime I tried cancelling they'd give me a free month of AOL but I was so sick of it that I kept saying cancel,cancel, cancel but they wouldn't listen so I had to get my mom to yell at them.
