Can't remember the name of a film? Help!

It's some familt sci-fi film that i saw as a kid and haven't seen since.

A boy falls off a small cliff or down a hill but isn't hurt. He goes home only to find that he is in the future. a time ship comes and takes him home. I think it was made in the 1980s

Does anyone know what it is?

I got flight of the Navigator free with a newspaper. Its surprising as Sarah Jessica Parker actully isn't bad looking in it.
