If they kill Cap i will really drop Marvel altogether... for awhile atleast. Perhaps Cap will switch and be in the Iron Man suit due to his injuries? I doubt they will ever kill Capt America for **** sake, hes Cap America man come on. Falcon, would die before Steve would.

That, right there, supports my whole, "People are sheep, and follow Captain America, because he's Captain America," speech.

Does seem? Its more like hes a pampered punk drunk whos believes everything the government says and tells him to do. If hes saying that Thor that would take alot of balls.

I laughed pretty hard upon reading this.

I love how everybody will bash Reed for being OOC, will state Thor isn't the real Thor, since that isn't how Thor acts, and other little misc. stuff. And then these people will go and say that Tony takes orders obediently.

Good stuff. I haven't laughed in three days. Merci, monseiur Caliber.

Who is the most likely canidate to wear the Ironman armor if Tony doesnt wear it after Civil War. In the Mighty Avengers preview, Ironman doesn't seem to be talking like Tony.

Funny thing about "Tony talk" as it never feels consistent. Sometimes he's using large complex sentences, and the next issue, he feels like he's talking at a mid school level.

The most likely candidate to fill his shoes though probably couldn't be anybody. Only a few people could even maintain the Iron Man armor, much less improve on it, or even have the ability to utilize it properly. And most of them wouldn't wear it.

The two coming to mind being Reed and Pym.

actually I suggest you read that issue again jones. Falcon is featured in the recap of the ambush but not the prisoner transport. The only anit-reg people shown are DD, Cage, Cloak and Dagger and Cap. And I also checked the corresponding issue of F4 which shows the exact same people which means the only posibilities are a young avenger, goliath, herc or....FALCON.

(DOES THE ASS SPANKAGE DANCE)

Well I think you can count Hercules out too, since he was present and accounted for in X-Men Civil War 2, I'm not positive if this took place aftre the Battle in CW 3-4 but by the way Cap looks, I'm guessing it's after, since he looks like he got hit by a mack truck (Ironman).

Hah! What? How so??

Right... but just to humor you, I wouldnt boast such a claim if i actually didnt enjoy the character and enjoy his stories, you assuming ass. Haha. I acutally believe im one of the few people who actually does the opposite of what you claim.

I mean after all... he is *****in' Captain America. :whatever:

Yeh i was on the toliet this morning, and was thinking the same thing as i was flipping thro the Wizard preview myself. That definitly aint Stark in the tin can suit. But at the same time, when Wasp asked him about his new trick with the whole full-body repulsor blast, he knew what he was talking about. Whoever it is he knows alot about the suit and its capabilities. So...

People are following Captain America because Iron Man is wrong, and a big ol' dick to boot. It's not rocket science.

Im following Iron man becasue he as the first comic book hero that I ever read.:(In the end I don't care if caps right or Iorn mans right I just hope that Hulk brings the smack down on both of them.

Damn Pym in the Ironman suit would be very dangerous.

Domestic abuse taken to a whole new level...

...sorry :(

I still don't understand why Thor is on the registration side. I don't understand why he's on any side, really. But I haven't been reading Civil War so what do I know?

Edit: I just read the rest of this thread and I guess nobody knows.

Or could be plain old Donald Blake using Thor's power.

So out of Hercules, Falcon, and Goliath.

Hercules is accounted for in X-Men Civil War 2, he is also on the cover of Captain America 24, but why is he not in ASM 534 and FF 539, what do you think happened to him? If he was a prisoner, how the hell did they capture him but not Luke cage, Dagger or Iron Fist? Falcon is on the cover to Civil War 7 and Captain America 24, he hasn't been seen since Thor showed up, but he was probably taken prisoner. Goliath hasn't been seen since, he's not on any future covers, that I have seen and he's a C-lister.

Maybe he's under mind-control...

In Fantastic Four 539, it looked as though Mad Thinker and the Puppet Master, where controlling what happened during the transportation of prisoners. Could it be possible that they where controlling Thor.

Something that worries me about Thor was read on another board someone saying that when he 'died' he lost his memories. So potentially Marvel gave Thor a good send off making him King-Thor, and this one is a blank slate made more modern. As if Thor had no previous memories, and Shield just got to him first, possibly explaining his speach and blind devotion. Don't get me wrong, I think it's as likely as any other possibilities in that it's just a guess, theory someone made up, but just saying it'd suck if so.

Personally I don't agree, well not fully. Sure some ppl probably follow Cap because of that, but the guys been around for a long time and has a decent following. Ppl cheer Cap for the same reason as Spidey or Hulk, he's some ppl's favorite character. Some enjoy reading him, or like his character and what he stands for and root for him because they believe he's right. Other's blindly follow him, but the same can be said for anyone who reads comics and has a favorite, so unfair to only call Cap followers sheep IMO.

You guys will think this is stupid - but what if Thor is pretty much a blank slate until he meets up with Beta Ray Bill. Bill was transported away from the final battle so he could be the last survivor and tell the story of Asgard/Thor/ etc. What if this is Thor, but he has to meet up w/ BRB and somehow recollect those memories (a la Spock in Star Trek 3) that might have been sent w/ Bill.

Otherwise - it's Aries in disguise, I think.

Civil War: I'm with Brother VooDoo.

Also the whole of civil war is a moral debate, since cap has always been the MU's "moral compass" it makes sense that the majority feel he's on the right side. That and marvel have yet to print a sinlge book with a pro-reg stance :o

Or possibly that guy who controlled cyclops during CW X-men 2?

Or is it possible they all have no relation with one another?
