Cast the new DCU

I think it could work if you pair, say, a 5'11" actress with a 5'8" actor. You could even make the actress a couple inches taller w/ lifts if need be.
Gunn is famous on bringing back actors he worked with before so... Woudn't Elizabeth Debicki(6'3) be the most obvious one for Big Barda?

That would be the obvious choice.

6'2, 26 years old, 210lb and that Jawline.

If he can act he's my pick for the Caped Crusader.

Damn!

So after Superman, I’m on board with an unknown as Batman.

Corenswet felt like the real life Superman. I felt like he was a real person, and I want that for Batman.

Another Philly guy too; he got his start at the Walnut Street Theatre... again, like David Corenswet. GO BIRDS!

More seriously; Nate Mann definitely looks the part. And I'm trying to not be so hung up on ages (it's a comic book!), so 26 with full Bat-family & son is fine for me. Haven't seen any of his Apple+ series though

But beware of fan-casting based on just looks, lest we get a Tom Bateman for the role. The guy looks perfect as Bruce but, boy oh boy, is he a tough performer to watch once he starts acting.

26 years old?? I’m sorry, I refuse to be that much older than Batman at this point in my life. I’m afraid I have to exercise my veto power on this one. :o

I don't know. Debicki has an almost aristocratic or regal vibe about her, which makes her ideally suited for roles like GotG's Ayesha. I can't really picture her as a Big Barda type, but maybe.

Just pump some steroids into her and put her on the Katy O'Brian workout plan. :o

I've heard some people say he's 28.

This is one of the reasons Frank Miller made DKR. He wanted a Batman who was older then him.

More interestingly, another Juilliard grad. I’d have to see him act before I’d endorse, but I’m certainly not opposed on first glance.

Paul Kelly's another Bruce-alike, but I have no idea if he can act. He's apparently playing JFK Jr. in the next Ryan Murphy project.

Holy s***. Murphy found an actual JFK Jr. doppelgänger for that. Probably a model with limited acting skill I’d wager, but still, the likeness is uncanny imo.

kinda got to agree there, from the sounds of it, if we're getting a seasoned Batman with an established Bat-family, 26 seems more age appropriate for where the original Robin might be...

so maybe him as Nightwing???
