Going back to Green Goblin for a second, I liked the incarnation in the movie, because he was like a combination of the 90's cartoon version and the comic version. He wanted more power, and wanted revenge on those trying to keep power away from him. I mean even in the mirror scene he tells Norman he's there to say what he won't, to do what he can't, and to remove those in his way. And he also said he gave him power beyond his wildess dreams and that it was only the beginning.
that's one of the things I love about the 90's series, it has such an impact on the spidey universe. i mean the style of spideys name from the animated series is still being used today!

Btw what is the grey thing on spidey's chest? is it a mark of some sort ?

Yea the promo was cool when i saw it on kidswb.com/home this morning around 6am. I did like his laugh and he look great in motion. Only thing i am not totally sold on is he sounds like an irish dude and i was hoping for a more sinister sounding voice.

idk about sounding irish, but he sounds similar to the 90's version, just a little high-pitched

yea so i was bored so i went to greg's blog and sent him a question on why they made gobby sound irish like the lucky charms elf. hopefully he answers me, if so i will inform u guys on what he said.

well it kinda sounded like irish accent to me, maybe i need to rewatch the clip a few times to judge it more. but i am not the only one who said he sounded irish.

Lol, it IS Irish...the serum changes Osborn's voice into an Irish lad, haha.

yea just the way he says I'm the green goblin sounds totally irish. I wonder why they went this route with his voice, as i said i was hoping for something more sinister and creepy.

No it's not.

They've stopped using that logo for a couple years now, always liked that logo though.

Yeah, I'm sure Greg is happy about Spider-Geeks finding his blog, now he's gonna have to screen it, to avoid a bunch of grown ass pimple faced virgins, asking questions about every decision that he makes--concerning a freakin' kid's cartoon.

Who cares? If he indeed if Irish, which we cant really tell anyway from one clip, its such a minimal change and he sounds great.

IMHO, I really think this could be the greatest animated Green Goblin yet. Though, the 90's cartoon Green Goblin was fantastic as well.

Th Irish accent is just one line, for all we know he's bantering with Spidey there for one line and that just happened to be th line KidsWB chose for the promo.

So, let's not complain until we've seen the episode and the context.

I liked the accent. He can be menacing and creepy with it, it was one line but we'll se how it turns out.

They gave Doc Ock a german accent in the 90's toon, and the world didnt end.
