Get over it already it was one character.

Green Goblin is a much bigger villain then the Shocker so they prolly wont change his orgin.

Sorry I hated that Shocker sounded like some Southern cowboy with bad puns etc ....

One of the reason I loved The 90's introduction of The Green Goblin is that Norman's motives for becoming The Goblin, wasn't to become The Kingpin of crime in New York City (Instead that was The Hobgoblin's agenda ) but was to settle a Vendetta with all of Norman's enemies (Fisk, Hardy, & Jameson) . Even the first movie in The Spider-Man trilogy by Sam Raimi & company followed that same format (With Norman using the Goblin persona to get revenge on The Oscorp borad members that tried to take over his company .)
The way I saw it Hammerhead is threatening to expose Norman for their secret activities tracing Sandman and Rhino back to Oscorp. Norman aint havin that. He will protect his own interests.

Did we get preview footage for this episode?

Well then they shouldn't have changed The Shockers origin either then . It should've been Herman not Montana .
true...but we barely know Herman's persona.
while I didn't like the change to Montana...I liked his personality.

It all flowed with the overall arc of the story so didn't bother me at all.

Ok That's Revenge , I like that . I just don't like the attempt to take over the rackets in New York city . Osborn not some common thug trying to get to the top . He's a powerful, respected ,wealth business Man .

That's true. But we all know that the formula will drive Norman insane as he develops as entirely different persona being the Green Goblin. Can't reason with insanity.

Yes we do,

We read it in the comics

We saw it in the 90's series

We saw it in the cinamatic scenes movie based video game Spider-Man : The movie & Spider-Man 2

Yes I know .

My problem is only The Kingpin element ,(Crime Lord of New York City)

Because then he just comes a cross as Lex Luthor , Not Norman Osborn .

So you would rather have some guy with no character development become Shocker just because of his name. Instead of using some one who has had character development.

we almost never see his face.
never in the 90's series, never in the games.
only quickly in the Quentin Beck mission in SM2.
I don't know about the comics, but I doubt it's so different.
it's Shocker who most of us know about. not Herman.

But this was an aspect of Norman in the early days of the comics. So they are staying somewhat true.

Herman Schultz was both an inventor and an engineer , a successful burglar & the world's best safe-cracker. After finally being caught and incarcerated for his crimes, he developed a pair of gauntlets designed to shoot air blasts, vibrating at high frequency.Schultz used the gauntlets to escape from prison and became the mighty supervillain known as "The Shocker".

Im talking about the TV show. He hasn't been shown yet.

It was a dumb idea , just like the flying broomstick instead of a glider . If their following the origin to the letter then why don't they have the gobby on a broomstick .:oldrazz:

I wouldn't be surprised if the next time Shocker shows up or maybe in the future it may be Herman. Or maybe Herman could have designed the equipment before they stole it in the first place. They do have the suit in their custody.

I liked the flying broomstick, but of course, the glider is the best, IMO.
