hmm i wonder why they are not having norman voice actor play goblin???? hopefully goblin has a good voice.

He looks so insane in that photo, as he should look. Wow! The mixture of stiles incorporated in this design really makes the complete Goblin.

Through means I am contractionaly obligated not to speak of, I totally called someone else voicing the Goblin and Blum is the perfect choice.

I'm dying to see him in action! And I believe finally the Goblin will get the respect he deserves, after that shameful fiasco in the film. Sam Raimi should look at this show and realize how devoted fans and creators are visualizing our favorite characters.
Why does everyone hate movie Goblin's costume. It's not that bad, and personally I've always disliked the whole "Pantsless Joe" costume. He did not look like a power ranger, as others have said.

I agree. Sure didn't look much like the comic version, but I like the armor idea. I would still have liked some purple in it, though.

hey well the one thing we can all for sure agree on is that Willem Dafoe played the character to a T. now the SSM Goblin design, imo the pumpin head jock is really stupid looking, and i miss the hood, he's got like a little tuke or helmet or something instead, oh and the chin is as bad as Vultures nose, everything else looks cool though

^Yep, that and Spiderman's costume is one of the few things even the haters liked.

It would have been great for a Scorpion costume, not a goblin. A goblin with a plastic or metal armor doesn't make sense. At least not like they made him. Norman Osborn was perfect, but the Goblin was the worst design ever made. Maybe the costume wasn't that bad if they put some garment, but the mask was terrible. It's stupid when you see it on screen. He is not terrible and hideous as he should be, but he is fanny and pathetic. No offense, but that's my problem with that Goblin, I don't blame anyone if they find it interesting.

Now that is one psychotic looking Goblin. As well he should be! I'm more excited to hear him laugh then I am throw a pumpkin bomb! :wow::woot:

Are the pumpkin bombs going to be the same as they were in the old trailer?

TVGuide has an exclusive first look at Green Goblin from The Spectacular Spider-Man:

Looks great. Blum'll do Gobby justice, he's a good voice actor.

There was a scene in sPider-Man where Goblin's lenses were open and Norman's mouth shown through the Goblin's smile. They should have kept it that way. The mask was menacing but Willem Defoe is too good an actor keep his face entirely concealed. Hell, even Dr. Doom's eyes were on disPlay.

Hey, I was thinking about something today...

Do you think the origin of the Green Goblin will be revealed at first. As anyone who read the original comics knows, it's not revealed who GG is until MUCH later (hell, Norman Osborn isn't even introduced in the first 30 issues).

So what does everybody think? Will we be introduced to the Green Goblin without an origin? Will he show up, cause mayhem, disappear, and then show up some episodes later and do the same (I for one LOVE GG's first appearance story).

This show seems to stick pretty closely to the ideas of the original Lee/Ditko run, so...
:spidey:

Big Man did his homework, so I'm sure he'd make a way to out Norman as the ones behind Sandman and Rhino if he ever tried to cross him or stop making super villains. Norman, however, probably doesn't like the idea of being threated so he just may try to take out Tombstone and the Big Man. Great stuff.

Well we all know who Gobby is behind the mask but even if they decide not to reveal who he is on screen in this episode, I'll be fine with that.

I'm looking forward to seeing Gwen's reaction to MJ on Peter's arm.:word:

Tombstone IS the Big Man.
