In the movie, Green Goblin kicked Spidey into a lamp post, so I hope GG has a little more strength over than Spidey in the series.

Well, we'll just have to see. I mean, they are taking things from the films and putting them into the show, even if it's very little things.

I wonder if spidey's going to say the movie line .

Spidey: It's you who's out Gobby, out of your mind .

Judging from the pics, either Harry IS the Goblin or somehow Norman ends up at the Midtown High Dance.

Harry defenitley isn't the Goblin. Norman is without a doubt the Green Goblin. I mean, it really would be bad if they made Harry the Green Goblin before Norman. In the comics, harry didn't become the Green Goblin until a little while after his father died.

Yea it is definately going to be norman first i dont think they would do harry first then norman. Yes they can do what they want with the show but i doubt harry will be first gg. Also sweet pics i cant wait to see goblin in motion.

Agreed, it just wouldn't make sense.

YEa they are totally sweet and by what we have seen with norman in the show already he has the means, and nohow to be goblin. They have showed harry isnt the smartest in the bunch and doesnt really have any evil intentions and all that besides that smile he had at the end of the other episode but we dont know what thats about.

Very true, and besides, Harry most likely won't become the Goblin until a later season.

Sweetness. I love how the glider has the hovering booster things underneath. The Pumpkin bomb is also cool; it's like a cross between the movie and comic versions. It's more pumpkin-looking than the movie, and more cybernetic than the comics.:woot:
Yeah, the pumpkin bombs are a very cool combination of both the movie and comic version.

I know it might be volunteering for Norman to take the GG serum or whatever, but what if Hammerhead forces him to become the next supervillain guinea pig?

well some think norman could be working on the project and then hammerhead/big man or someone else causes things to go heywire and norman becomes the crazed goblin.

Being that there are NEW pics, which are usually released when a new episode is coming out on Saturday, does this mean we're getting a new episode with the Green Goblin this Saturday?

Nope, but thankfully we will be getting a promo.

Then why did they release new Green Goblin pics, they usually wait until the week that a new episode is on that Saturday?

Nevermind, we'll just have to wait until next Saturday.

The network also provided the following press release, as seen below.

The Spectacular Spider-Man fans get a refresher course this Saturday, April 19 with a pair of encore episodes on Kids' WB!/The CW – "Natural Selection," featuring Lizard at 9:30 a.m. ET/PT, followed by Sandman's first episode, "Competition," at 10:00 a.m. ET/PT. However, an all-time favorite begins several weeks of new, original episodes next Saturday, April 26 when Green Goblin makes his grand entrance on The Spectacular Spider-Man at 10:00 a.m. ET/PT on Kids' WB! on The CW.

The episode takes place on the night of the Midtown High Fall Formal, and Peter Parker finds his overconfidence is nearly his undoing – as both a teenager and a super hero. While his date, Mary Jane Watson, threatens to invert Midtown's social structure, Pete lets her popularity go to his head. So when the mysterious, murderous Green Goblin tries to force L. Thompson Lincoln (a.k.a. Tombstone) to step down as NYC's Big Man of crime, will Spider-Man take this new threat seriously enough – or will he be so cocky that he loses his big head?!

i doubt it, they've always had pretty much equal strength, although Spidey is sometimes
a little stronger.

I wonder if GG will have that arm blade that movie Harry had.
