Okay with this episode I love it more than the 90's show.

I don't think Harry's the Goblin. But he could be later, I think him taking that formula is their way of addressing Harry's drug use without using a certain drug. Well even in the comics Stan didn't name LSD or any certain thing 'cause of the stupid comics code, but even then they didn't like it but the great Stan the Man ran it anyway.

I love how MJ just doesn't care about the stupid popular crowd, it was great to see those morons get theirs.

would be better if GG would just kill the snobs.:yay:

anyway, Eddie gets on my nerves, first he got mad at Peter about those photos in the Lizard episode, but come on, Pete needed the money and connors wasn't shown as Lizard, if he were a real friend he'd know that, then he gives Peter a dirty look for not being at the dance with Liz, big deal. What an ass. Well it shows Venom's not far behind. Now we have JJJ's son in the show so I'm sure they'll go with something like in the old cartoon.

Can't wait to see Doc Ock next week! Finally my two fave villians!

Solid 9. Another really good episode.

Can't wait to see Doc Ock, the promo looks sweet.

Question: Where did Harry get the G-Juice from, has he been steaking into Norman's private stash. Not that I think he's the Goblin, but where did he get the juice from?
I think he probably got it from a secret room in Normans house or something. Though, maybe he just found it in his fathers bedroom.

HOLY ****!!!!

This episode was CRAZY!!!! I mean good humor, Goblin was so badass, JJJ was hilarious, John Jameson was a cool guy, MJ was so cool and has the hottest voice ever!!!!

Goblins voice was so good I was extremely happy. Pete walking into the gym with MJ was so awesome and seeing everyones expression was genius.

11 out of 10 for me. One of my favorites so far!! :spidey::gg::bomb:

I can totally sympathize with Eddie. His trusted mentor was put in a compromising situation, a potentially life-threatening situation, and Eddie risks his own life to help Spider-Man. Where's Peter? Snapping shots of the action. Pretty irresponsible to me. Eddie would have gotten over that, too. But then, Peter turns down Gwen (not Liz--otherwise, it would be insignificant) and shows up with a "hotter" girl. Eddie's close to Gwen, too, and he probably feels that Peter's just continuing to be a selfish sell-out. Honestly, if the story were told from Eddie's perspective, you'd have to constantly remind yourself that, unbeknownst to Eddie, Peter is Spider-Man to avoid thinking that Parker is a selfish jerk. I think the development of Brock will produce an amazing Venom transformation.
"Don't get all emo on me, bro."

Beautiful post, Volton 4!

Does anyone else think this show just keeps getting better?

Again, I think it was a good episode, but I think it lost some of the story-telling momentum that had been built up in "Invisible Hand."

yea how could glory go back to the jerk kenny.

Kenny was acting childish. Glory went with Harry to spite Kenny. Kenny finally decided to apologize sincerely and act in a mature manner. I think that shows some personal growth on Kenny's part. Which is cool, having character development with even minor characters like that. So...I can sympathize with Harry's plight, but Glory dating Harry was never really about an interest in Harry, so much as an attempt to show Kenny that she was not going to stand for his nonsense anymore.

I think I might just become very unpopular. Sure, it was a great episode of a great series...but I didn't find it particularly stellar or brilliant, especially after "Invisible Hand." Honestly, I cringed at Peter's flashback sequence to earlier in the day in the midst of his fight with Green Goblin. Who would do that? Not only that, but--who would have the time to do that? And it seemed almost as an excuse to awkwardly heighten suspense by a clumsy in medias res attempt, and it also seemed to proliferate some unneeded recycled fight scene animation. Also, I thought the "mystery" with Harry's drinking of the formula is handled rather kids' show-clumsy, as well. Yes, it's a kids' show. Yes, I'm sure the younger audience found it very interesting, and I know that older fans would be at least momentarily baffled, perhaps. But that doesn't excuse a lazy execution. It just felt overly hyped.
I was a little underwhelmed too. The in media res fell flat for me as well. Although I think the Harry with the formula wasn't too bad - I was (and still am) sure it was Norman beneath the mask, but it had me doubting a bit. I also gave it an eight. A GG episode should be better.

Not to steal a line from the episode, but "wow...I mean...wow." This was great. Whoever they got to play MJ makes her sound just as she should. Matter of fact, everybody's voice acting here really brought personality out of the characters. The action was great, too. They never seemed to stop making the Goblin a solid threat, even showing his old electric tricks. I was surprised at how many nods there were towards the original Goblin in this one episode. They had his original motivation going on and everything. Makes you wonder how many times Peter foils his plans before he stops trying to become the next kingpin and gets personal.

On the identity of the Goblin: Hard to say. I got the impression that Harry never changed out of that suit since he's still soaked in juice at the end of the episode, and the Goblin looks and sounds older than Harry. So maybe it's just a coincidence, and Norman is behind the mask nonetheless? Still, Harry's had the formula (remember, that formula was labelled so Norman probably knows what it does). If things continue, Harry might take on the mantle later on.

Overall, though, this is the 10 out of 10 episode everyone's been claiming that it is. I'm so very glad I gave this series a chance; it's been one great ride ever since.

I though we were getting 2 new episodes each week. Instead we're only getting one new episode this week and another new one in 2 weeks. this sucks.

I think we have an all-new one next Saturday. They showed a Doc Ock promo saying it was next week so... think we got a new one next week.

Am I mistaken anyone?

I'm guessing they had Harry take the serum to throw some of us off. Or maybe the Goblin will become a Father/Son deal. The writers of this show are just smart, I know almost everything about Spidey history. But I'm not sure who The Goblin is for sure.
And I guess Tombstone is The Big Man.

Her voice actor'd be Vanessa Marshal.

Whilst, not my favorite episode it's still a damn fine one.

Gobby's voice is spot on perfect. Best Green Goblin voice ever.I like the mystery developing around Gobby's identity. I'm betting it's Norman though, seeing as he was doing all that seemed to be on his list. On the other hand it could be Harry trying to make his father proud of him, which would make sense since Harry's been listening to some of Norman's conversations with Hammerhead.

The gang's reaction to MJ was just priceless. Really looking forward to next week's episode.

Little Foot makes some good points about Kong. He maned up and Glory forgave him. Shows some good growth on Kong's part. Still sucks for Harry, though.
