Anyway, the season premiere was crazy.

I liked how he was fine with the girl when he thought she had the potential to be hot. He was making all kinds of excuses.

I'm surpised Catfish is still going on in 2015, when Instagram is at it's prime.

Maybe there's no thread because this "reality show" is so obviously staged and phony.

I don't understand how people can get catfished in 2015. Maybe if this was the early 2000's during MySpace's popularity it would make sense, but now? If you "dating" some one online and they always have an excuse why they can't Skype or send you pics with them holding a sign with something letting you know it's really them, or even call you on the phone, then it's more than likely a catfish. The fact that people still get duped like this makes me feel like the the show HAS to be staged. People can't be this naive or stupid can they?

What's fake isn't the fact that people are getting duped, but that we're expected to believe it was just a coincidence that everything was already all being documented on video before the "catfish twist" occurs.

All reality shows are faked anyways. They use a loose script outline that eveyone has to follow.

Honestly, what's amazing is that people are duped by so-called "reality" television.
