This is one of my favorite shows on TV.
The season premiere starts at 9:30 tonight.
Who else likes/loves the show, and plans to watch this tonight?

I like it...but I just can never seem to make time for it. :csad:

Dangit, I was going to make a well-deserved and long-overdue thread for Boston Legal! :csad:

Last night's ep was good stuff. I like the way David E. Kelly is not afraid to write off characters outside of the inner circle at a rapid pace. It keeps the show fresh, although I will SORELY miss Mark Valley! :(

Larroquette is a STRONG addition to the cast, his character twist was perfect, and they've got a lot of room to grow with him. But it's sad to see Shatner back on the prowl; I miss his midget girlfriend!

I watched s good part of the first two seasons, starting with the lead-ins from The Practice, but I seemed to lose interest after the cast changes started. I've caught a few eps here and there, but nothing consistent. I tuned in last night for about 15 minutes and hardly recognized anyone. I saw John Larroquette and thought he was back portraying Joey Heric (which probably would have hooked me). No such luck, though it was funny to see Denny's usual shtick.

I miss Monica Potter.

No way! :down She was why Season 1 felt so clunky; she didn't/doesn't fit TV.

I am sad to see Mark Valley go, but you have to admit that Kelly does right by being willing to admit when he's taken a character about as far as they can go creatively. It takes a smart and seasoned writer to do that.

I would watch the show but Spaders portray bugs me alot. Love Shatner and John Larroquette.
But i liked The Practice better and just didn't watch the spin off.

He kind of casually cheated on his monogamous relationship TWICE the other night, and surely that can't be good in the long run??

I mean, he's regressing back to the way he used to act.....no remorse. :down

This show does not get enough recognition here on the hype. James Spader is outstanding in this show. James Spader's closing arguments are so poignant and truly fit the world we live in today.

A couple of things:

1. The continuity of the show is a little off, because I am sure Larroquette played a killer on the Practice.

2. I think the Judge that Shore broke up with because he didn't want an kiddies is actually pregnant. She just wanted to see how he would take the potential of being a father. That should come up later in the season.

I still love the show. I do wonder sometimes how long they can keep Shatner in the show. Before he just becomes nothing more than a mascot. I mean he really doesn't have much to do other than to be funny.

That's his exact and only role. He the crazy old CEO that can't let go of the fact he kind of no longer is "the MAN" of the company anymore. That scene where he farted in Larroquettes office had me crying!

been a fan of this show since season one. Love how they dont take it too seriously especially when they have moments like denny would say cue the music and the intro would come on.

I too have a problem with the constant cast changes, especially when they dont mention what happened to the characters.

I mean where's paul disappeared to and that lawer chick clancey was dating?

Oh and i'm love with the new girls accent, so posh and so well spoken!

tonight was hilarious, Shatner is hilarious

shatner with a aerosoft gun was great

I'll have to catch repeats of Boston Legal. I've re-adjusted my schedule, so that I now watch Nip/Tuck on Sunday. Tuesday night just has too many good shows on.

:down

I'm really not liking Season 4 so far. 1-3 was fantastic. But this season they're all acting... off.

I still love this show, love the episode (last season?) with Denny trying the case and the show showing clips of Shatner in I believe Judgment at Nuremberg from his very early film career. Spader is always dynamite, Candice Bergen is great as Shirley. The whole show is intelligent and a pleasant alternative from all these ridiculous reality crap that's on tv.
