Cell Phone Advice

Spend some time on Apple's iPhone site checking out all the demo vid's they have of it. It's way beyond being just a phone:

The only uncertainty is what Cingular/AT&T is going to charge for their service plans, as they haven't announced them yet.

if you can afford it... i defntly say go Iphone... i just thought you needed a phone now.. that was more streamlined ....

if current indications hold true it will be minimum 60 bucks for a plan including voice and internet

How much is Apple paying you Jag? :cmad:

Coporate shill!!!

well I've got one that is moderately functional right now, but it keeps turning off randomly, going screen dead, droppingcalls, missing calls, the usual warning signs that its time to get a new phone.

Iphone sounds like a neat toy, but 60 bucks a month is a bit much for me I feel. Heck, thats cutting into my comic money a little too much.
It looks cool and does cool stuff, but I dunno if I can justify that much money just for cellphone coverage...

Yes, I'm hijacking an ancient thread.

I'm having trouble charging my cell phone. It has some debris, powder from my cooking job in the port. I bought a new charger so that's not the problem. I could go to the geek squad but I dont want to pay them.

Maybe there's something wrong with the battery? How old is your phone?

Power off your phone. Using a wooden toothpick to clear any caked on debris. Then use a cotton swab dabbed in isopropyl alcohol. Wait at least an hour before plugging it in or turning it on to make sure it is completely dry.
