Went yesterday with an aunt and a couple younger cousins that wanted to see it due to me having to do xmas shopping for the family, and while it did get good reviews, i wasn't 100% enthralled about seeing it, but it's honestly more faithful to the original E.B. White book than the classic cartoon. No songs for one, and Fanning is still creepy as I don't know what, but she did the part well enough. Buscemi does Paul Lynde's Templeton justice, though Julia Roberts makes Charlotte extremely deadpan, like she just phoned it in. And yes, the ending will make you tear up a bit even if you already know what the deal is. Now never speak of me tearing up again.

Dude, I always tear up at that ending! So, no shame no foul. Think it's just a real tearjerker.

And can't wait to see it. Brings back childhood memmories of reading it in elementary school.

The ending always gets me, too. Can't help it.

DAMN YOU FOR MAKING ME WANT TO SEE IT!!!!!!! :csad: :meow:

Haha, I never liked the cartoon.

So I plan to skip this.

i'm just glad they didnt change the ending, cause little kids shouldnt know that death or anything bad happens

from what i've heard they didnt but i havnt heard anything official

It's still intact. The spider dies. It's not really a spoiler, as I think any normal person knows the endings to books decades old.

Please don't be a dude. I showed my support in the homosexuality thread, but come on.
