i cannot even imagine 6 mos....i wasn't there nearly that long and started losing my mind...(hrmm...that sounded kinda weird...losing my mind in a psych ward).

This was a specialist adolescent unit. I was put there on an emergency bed placement. The hospital specialty? Anorexia. I was the only non anorexic girl there. Scary when a girl half your weight asks how she gets to be as thin as you.

that would be creepy...however i did share a room with a guy who started out thinking he was jesus...and about 2 weeks later told me he got over that and realized he was actually the god of war and was sent to kill all the demons on earth with his bare hands....i didn't sleep that night.
