HEY I just realized that several scenes were shot in IMax but not all of them, and I meant to watch for which ones, but after the first 6 minutes (which we all know were shot in imax) i totally got lost in the movie and didnt catch when it switched back over to full IMax. Anyone know which scenes were IMaxisized, so to speak?

The scenes that took up the whole entire huge screen were the imax ones, most scenes had the black bars above the picture.

He knows how to tell if it's IMAX or not, he's asking which specific scenes were in IMAX because he was obviously too engrossed in the movie to pay attention to that. (Like I was for the most part)

Kevin, I know for sure that when they panned over Commissioner Loeb's funeral that was in IMAX, the Hong Kong landscape stuff was in IMAX, as was the hospital explosion (yay!). That's all I can remember off the top of my head right now...Oh! and When the semi was chasing the SWAT truck on Lower Wacker. Just pay more attention when we go on Friday!

Hey, if anyone's interested I just got back from the red carpet at Navy Pier and have some great pictures of the Batpod, Tumbler, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, and Christopher Nolan.

I'm interested! I wanted to go, but everyone else was "too tired" from last night. Lame.

pooooost!!!!!!!!! i think i saw alot you guys there too (especially you Vlkers!!)
let me see let me see!!!

The pictures are taking a while to upload, so... stories? In the meantime? I think I saw a few of you... positive I saw byte and DCT (at least I think it was DCT). If anyone saw a girl in a TDK shirt waving around a copy of the Gotham Times, that was me. They kept interviewing me and taking pictures and I pretty much wanted to die, haha.

Alright, pictures are finally done. Here's a public link to the facebook album I put up:

Just out of curiosity, is anyone who went to the Woodridge screening going to the midnight release in Lincolnshire? I tried to get IMAX tickets but they were sold out so I just got regular ones. But if anyone's going to the Regal IMAX theater...

If soo.. We should at least say hi to each other! :-D I am soooo antsy to see it again! I downloaded all these joker clips to my phone, including the trailors, and my new text alert is his laugh lol! :-) Exciiiited!

Oh! ANd i also just got the batman cd.. So.. Im going to listen to that on my way to work.. im gonna be late burning it haha :-)

Got to meet Chris and Jonathan Nolan, Emma Thomas, and Gary Oldman last night (Caine did not stay for the after party). Gary, I couldn't get a picture with b/c his assistant said "No pictures" but I did get one with Chris and Jon. Gary ended up leaving early, perhaps because a lot of group of fans were asking him for pictures, autographs, etc. He did a few pictures later on (I was not lucky enough to get one before he left) and he signed some stuff too.

The gala event was FIRST CLASS and purely amazing. Got to the see the movie AGAIN...twice before it's wide release...lots of little things I didn't pick up the first time.

Just incredible stuff. Jonathan, Emma, and Chris could not have been nice. Emma took a picture of my brother and I with Chris and his eyes were closed so she said "Oh Chris, your eyes were closed on that one! Let me take another one for these boys." He grumbled a little because it seemed he is a little camera shy, but he was very very polite and nice. I was wearing my "I Believe In Harvey Dent" pin and my CFB shirt under my suit jacker, my brother was wearing his "IBIHD" shirt and Emma, Jon, and Chris all commented on it and said "Oh, so you've been following the viral campaign online, huh?" I was a little nervous so I didn't mention that I had the phones from the campaign, but I wish I had...even though he would might not have even known what I was talking about.

Jonathan was incredibly nice...and young!...I didn't realize how young the guy was compared to Chris. He was so nice and talked a little about the movie with my brother and I. After the picture, I said "So we will see you for the 3rd one." and he just said very coy, "We'll see" and then winked. Awesome.

Over all, a VERY classy event and I will have pics up later. The Batpod and Tumbler were on display during the after party and unlike they had it when it was on display for the public earlier that day with the red ropes guarding people from getting close to them, they put the red ropes right up next to the two vehicles so we could get RIGHT UP NEXT TO THEM! It was awesome. I inspected the entire batpod and the under side of the tumbler behind the back wheels. Incredible incredible pieces of work. Nolan took some guy around explaining the vehicles to him and I tried to follow closely behind him to listen to what he had to say about them. Lots of people were following so it was hard to hear but it was pretty cool to have him right up next to the vehicles and me right there with him.

Oh, and some fan showed up in full Joker get-up (he had the shirt custom made to match the one in the movie...purely identical). When he went out with the media by the red carpet he got a lot of attention, interviews, pictures taken of him and then Warner Brothers said they didn't want him out there and asked him to go inside the theater and away from the public (probably out of respect for Heath). Then, at the after party, he creepily walked around the party I'm assuming looking for people to give him attention. A few gave him some and then he got a picture of him next to Nolan by the Tumbler...I also got a picture of it.

Again, amazing night...worth every penny spent.

ahh dude!!! i'm sooo jealous!! i got to rub you so i can feel the awesomeness you'll still have on ya!! ( no, i aint rubber "there!!" ;) ) see ya at midnight!!!!!
