Cintiq

I was just wondering if anyone could offer me any input into this tool. So how does the cintiq measure up?

get the intuos. from what ive read it's smoother and has better screen mapping. since you're going to be inking you the smoothness of your pen will be important.

Nah, I gotta be able to draw on the screen so intuos aint for me.

well, the cintiq is really expensive(at least...IMO) and you get the exact same effect as you would any regular tablet I'm sure. I guess its just convienient to be able to look directly at the pen and image at the same time.

I'd get the intuos. It will save you ton's of money and from what I've heard its really easy to get used to.
