    Hey Guys,

These Dentmobile threads are starting to spiral out of control. There are over 30 stops and we simply can't have a thread for each city. A few of the existent threads (Chicago, New York, Los Angeles & Philadelphia) have garnered sufficient interest/posts. However, there are also some threads that have tumbleweeds rolling through them. To cut down on the clutter, I'm combining cities that share proximity into 'Regional' threads, particular to certain cities.

The groupings aren't geographically perfect, but I think this setup should work for our purposes. Here's the breakdown, including the individual city threads that are functioning:

    Chicago

    Los Angeles

    New York City

    Philadelphia

Mid-Atlantic/Northeastern States (Maryland, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Washington, DC)

Southeastern States/Texas (Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Texas)

Lower Midwestern States/Colorado (Colorado, Kansas, Missouri)

Upper Midwestern States (Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, Wisconsin)

Pacific/Western States (Arizona, Oregon, Washington & San Francisco)

    • For general discussion on the Dentmobile Campaign Tour, please check out Anita's Dentmobile Map thread.
    • If you managed to catch yourself some Dentmobile action and want to share what went down ...and the swag you managed to score  ...with those who aren't able to come out and support Harvey, post it up here.

I certainly want everyone to be able to meet up or consolidate plans in their respective local areas if they wish to and I think the logistics laid out here help us do that best, given space considerations. This is Gotham City, not Sparta, so let's limit the madness. Yes, I did just actually write that.

Thanks, people. Now, get back on that campaign trail. There's an election to be won!
I Believe in Harvey Dent. :brucebat:
    Maybe :hoboj:

The Dentmobile is coming to a city near you!

Good idea - I did set up public Google Calendars approximately by region so people could follow my lead, but it still would be a lot of threads.

I think it's too late to set up an LA one for today - I'll be getting ready for work soon and then I'll be high-tailing it right to Santa Monica. :oldrazz: But I think we should have a "reporting back" thread that someone already started.

Wait...do the Registration Cards we got have anything to do with the Dentmobiles? I mean if I were able to I could still get to Austin, TX for tomorrow, but I just got my card today and it seems VERY short notice is they ARE connected...

Please tell me the Registration Cards are a seperate thing.

They are completely separate. Most people haven't gotten them yet, and I suspect they'll keep sending them out until the deadline on March 26.

My guess is that they'll set up some kind of online voting system on one of the new sites for the elections in June, and that's what the registration cards will come in.

Not from what I'm gathering. The registration cards were in response to submissions to the site. I'm not really sure what role they play as of yet. At the Dentmobile thing, it's just random. You show up, sign some release forms and faux petitions, hand out some campaign stuff and get a T-shirt, in addition to whatever amount of the campaign stuff you want to keep for yourself (stickers, buttons, posters). You don't the registration card to help spread the word about Harvey.

edit: Of course, Anita, Ms. TDK Viral, herself, beats me to the punch with the info. :D

Ok...just making sure I'm still in the game. It would suck to go through submitting to the site and getting the card just to end up missing out entirely.

    good.
