Apparently there's going to be a Civilization VII at some point in the future:

It may not be the "biggest" game announcement, but it will suck up more hours than nay other AAA game.

Yeah, I saw something from 2K that was obviously hinting at Civ 7.

Hopefully, this will be closer to Civ 5 than Civ 6.

Very glad to hear about this. There goes 1,000 hours of my life. :beaming:

Oh, okay. I haven't played any of the Civilization games yet and thought they were all on PC.
No way I'm playing this on anything but pc! Finally can see what this CPU can do. :cwink:

I am very curious to see what the game is like.

Gameplay reveal on Aug 20th.

February 2025. Art style looks good to me. I'll have to watch the gameplay showcase later today.

It has some fascinating changes. The ages concept is really cool. And separating leaders from nations is interesting. And how you can change nations throughout history, like real life history. And I love how the cities and districts work, and that settlers don't automatically make cities, but towns, which support cities.

New leader and new Civ. I am curious if some Civs are going to get multiple versions, as I imagine some Civs existed in both the Exploration and Modern age. Can't wait till full playable previews become available.

Checking on some of the reactions, and man, I knew some of the changes were going to be controversial, but wow, seems to be quite the vocal crowd who hates it sight unseen.

Hooboy, the reaction to Harriet Tubman being a leader is... exactly what you would think.

Preordered. Kind of worried about how monetized it will be. But, fine. I tend to wait for the sales for expansions anyway.
