Jay's show is definitely off and is probably moving to 11:30. What Conan does is up to him.

He has the weekend to think it over, according to NBC. So, there will be an announcement either Monday or Tuesday.

I hope he sticks it to NBC and Leno by taking his business elsewhere. He's been loyal long enough. It's time for Coco to think about Coco.

This news affects Jimmy Fallon to a degree. If Conan accepts the move, Fallon moves back a half hour. If Conan leaves, Fallon pretty much stays where he's at.

Fallon's ratings are about the same as Conan's from last year: neck and neck with Ferguson, usually a little lower.

When NBC made the deal for Conan to take over in 2009, his competition wasn't that great on CBS and other cable channels. His ratings were much higher back then.

That's not the smartest thing to do since he wouldn't have an new set to go to ABC with and a new ABC set would take months.
