Anyone heard about this movie based on the ''true'' story that inspired an excellent series of books?

I love the books so I'm intrigued to see how the movie turns out.

Haven't read them (I think I've heard of them), but I might check this out. It sounds pretty interesting.

I'd reccomend it....Im not sure how it would work for you but personally, it changed my whole views on religion for the better and helped me find my faith and it made me a better person.

Well I've become somewhat religious lately (I'm a Catholic, but only recently have I become noticably spiritual), so my interest in this is somewhat high.

I've read them and like you they changed my life and my whole outlook on God and religion.

Where did you hear about a movie? I don't see how they could make a movie based on the books:huh:

Wow, the trailer was amazing. I'll be checking this out.

I'll be seeing this one.

It's good to meet someone who has read it....people here don't tend to know about it, so I felt a little alone, but it's good to meet someone else :)

I was scepticle as hell about it, and someone I used to know introduced me to them. sadly we lost touch but it made me think maybe the reason I met that person was to read these books. I'll tell you, if he's not genuinely, then he's the best damn faker the world has ever known. I am totally convinced in what he says. It's so damn wise and knowledgeable, more so than religious books I have read.

I didn''t know about the movie, I was looking for trailers for the new texas chainsaw massacre and it caught my eye...like you I thought ''how would this work as a movie? its gotta be a different thing to the books...something else with the same title''. But nope. Im there for this one.
